Introducing: Garage Sales - Same Gear, Less Pretty

Not everything that comes out of the shop is going to look perfect, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work.

Introducing Garage Sale, a new way to pick up Boogie Rated products at a lower price when they have cosmetic blemishes that keep them from making the cut as a standard retail product.

Same product, materials, fit, and functionality. Just not quite as pretty.

What is Garage Sale?

Garage Sale items come from the same production runs as our regular products, including our aluminum and ASA/ABS MOLLE panels and clip-on trash bins. They are built to the same specifications and are fully functional, but may have things like scratches, minor surface imperfections, cosmetic marks, or other blemishes from manufacturing and handling.

These aren't stripped-down versions, prototypes, or lower-quality builds.

They're the same gear that we normally sell. They just didn't pass the cosmetic inspection. We’re pretty picky about what gets sold as a standard product, and sometimes that means a perfectly good part gets kicked over to the Garage Sale pile.

Why Garage Sale?

Manufacturing isn't perfect. A powder coat can pick up a scratch. A plastic part can have a slight surface imperfection. A panel can get marked during handling.

Normally, those parts would sit on a shelf or become scrap.

I'd rather put them to work.

If you're installing a MOLLE panel in your truck or clipping a trash bin onto the console, a slight cosmetic blemish isn't going to change how the product does its job. And if you're the type who is going to put your truck through the same dirt, dust, rocks, and trail pinstripes that mine sees, you probably aren't losing much sleep over a scratch.

So instead of charging full price for something that isn't cosmetically perfect, Garage Sale gives you the option to save some money and put that same product to use.

What You're Getting

Garage Sale products maintain the same core specifications and functionality as their standard counterparts.

That means:

• Same materials
• Same design
• Same fitment
• Same mounting hardware where applicable
• Same functionality
• Same attention to the details that went into the regular product

The only real difference is cosmetic condition. Same product, same performance. It just didn't have quite the same luck in the beauty department.

What You're Not Getting

Garage Sale is not a way to offload products that don't work.

If a part doesn't meet the functional requirements of the product, it doesn't become a Garage Sale item. It becomes scrap, a test part, or gets reworked.

The point of Garage Sale is simple: cosmetically imperfect, functionally solid.

If you're okay with a scratch, imperfect finish, or other cosmetic blemish, you can get the same gear for less.

And honestly, once it's installed in the truck and starts doing its job, that blemish probably won't be the thing you notice anyway.
